Illinois upland game hunting and waterfowl hunting packages are available along with lodging at the Sportsmen's Lodge. Enjoy pheasant hunting and quail hunting in Central Illinois! Your Illinois pheasant hunt will take place on a picturesque farm featuring grain fields and shelterbelts.

LICENSE AND PERMITS NEEDED TO HUNT WATERFOWL:
 Illinois resident/non-resident hunting license (over age 16) -approved hunter safety course for under age 16- Illinois State Waterfowl Stamp - Federal Waterfowl Stamp - You must register with HIP (Harvest information Program - 1-800-WETLAND).



RECOMMENDED GEAR FOR UPLAND GAME HUNTING!
Comfortable, lightweight footwear (preferably waterproof) is a must! In addition all hunters are required to wear a blaze orange vest or coat and blaze orange hat. Any gauge shotgun you feel comfortable with is fine! It is also permissable to use lead shot on upland game with the best results using #6 or #7 1/2 shot. Guided hunts are done over trained dogs. If you are an Illinois resident you must have a valid hunting license (over 16) and FOID card. Non-residents and residents alike can purchase 5 day license at the Sportsmen's Club as well.
